STEM Days - a whole day of robotics activities, taking the students from first principles to a coded robot

Level: Beginner/intermediate

For Key Stage 2-5 (Scotland P4-S6), with the content pitched accordingly

Based around the RoboStarter concepts and WRO Learn

Numbers of students: 6-30

Time required: approximately 5 hours, allowing time for the registration of students, breaks and movement around the school

Location: ideally a large room such as a drama studio, PE hall or school hall

Workshops - short, fun, introductory sessions to robotics

Level: Beginner

For Key Stage 1-5 (Scotland P2-S6), with the content pitched accordingly

Based around the RoboStarter concepts

Numbers of students: 6-30 per session

Time required: each workshop can be approximately 1 or 2 hours, allowing time for the lesson change over. Assuming a full day of 5 hours, up to 5× 1 hr workshops can be accommodated

Location: ideally a large room such as a drama studio, PE hall or school hall

**travel is charged at £0.45 per mile after the first 20 miles in each direction. If a drive of over 2 hours in normal conditions is required then overnight accommodation will be needed, usually charged at £150 as an average for a popular hotel chain.
